Cascades Loop, Washington-part 1

The entire loop drive is near 400 miles in length, encompassing puget sound, san juans region east through North Cascades National Park, through National Forests, desert regions, Along a portion of the columbia river, through the apple growing region, and through several passes back to the Seattle area.

A good sidetrip would be ( I did not make it) up to Mt Baker. Lake Chelan, along the loop, is considered a world class resort area. Most of my time spent was in the NP and NF's.
